Molly’s Cottage is located in Talybont-on-Usk, a well-served and picturesque village that lies within the so-called ‘Golden Triangle’ of South Wales – the stunning valleys and unspoilt countryside that lie between the pretty market towns of Brecon and Crickhowell and the famous second-hand bookshop centre of Hay-on-Wye.

Besides the glorious hill walking and wildlife that stretch in almost every direction from the village, the surrounding area has something for everyone. In the next door valley lies Llangorse Lake and its extensive watersports facilities. Sailing, canoeing, hang-gliding, pony-trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, a choice of 18 hole golf courses, tennis, squash, bowling and indoor swimming are all available nearby.
